These terms are a contract between you and Diamond Scout covering your use of the Diamond Scout mobile app and website. By installing or using Diamond Scout you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Diamond Scout is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Mojang AB, Microsoft, or Minecraft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang AB. All game names, terminology, and world-generation behavior referenced in the app belong to their respective owners.
Diamond Scout simulates Minecraft world generation on your device to predict where structures and ore deposits are likely to appear for a given seed and game version. Results are calculated locally and are a prediction, not a guarantee. Accuracy depends on selecting the correct game version, and results may differ from your actual world if that world uses mods, data packs, custom world settings, a different game edition, or a version we do not model exactly.
Diamond Scout offers optional paid plans. On Android, all purchases are processed by Google Play — we never receive or store your payment details.
Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Manage or cancel a subscription in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Prices are shown in the app and may change. Any price change applies only to future billing periods and will be disclosed before it takes effect.
Purchases are handled by Google Play, and refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Google Play support first, then email support@diamondscout.io and we will help where we can.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source or world-generation engine; resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Diamond Scout or its results as your own service; use automated means to place abnormal load on the app or website; or circumvent purchase verification and entitlement checks.
Seeds, coordinates, base locations, names, and notes you enter stay on your device. You keep ownership of them. Because they are stored locally, they are your responsibility to back up — uninstalling the app or resetting your device deletes them permanently and we cannot recover them.
We aim to keep Diamond Scout working but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and support for specific Minecraft versions may be added or removed as the game evolves. We may discontinue the service; if we discontinue it while you hold an active subscription, we will make a reasonable effort to give notice.
Diamond Scout is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that predictions will be accurate or that the app will be error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Diamond Scout is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost time or lost progress in a game.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Diamond Scout is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for any purchases made.
You may stop using Diamond Scout at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms — for example by abusing the acceptable-use rules above.
We may update these terms. When we do we will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will give notice in the app. Continuing to use Diamond Scout after a change means you accept the updated terms.
