Diamond Scout is built to be private. There are no accounts and no sign-in. Seed calculations run entirely on your device, and everything you save stays there. We do not collect personal data.
Diamond Scout does not ask you to register, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number. You can use every feature of the app without identifying yourself to us.
Minecraft seed calculations happen entirely on your device using a local WebAssembly module. Your seeds and the structures we surface from them never reach our servers.
Seeds, ore veins, points of interest, and bases you save — including any names, coordinates, and notes you add — are stored locally on your device (AsyncStorage on Android, localStorage on web). They never leave your device unless you explicitly share them. Because this data is local, uninstalling the app deletes it permanently and we cannot recover it.
Premium subscriptions are billed by Google Play. Purchases are verified through RevenueCat (revenuecat.com), which receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase status so your subscription can be restored if you reinstall. Diamond Scout receives only the entitlement state ("premium active / inactive") — never your payment details, card numbers, or billing address. Google Play and RevenueCat are subject to their own privacy policies.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. Crash reports, if any, are surfaced through the platform store (Google Play Console) and contain no personal identifiers.
Diamond Scout is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Because the app has no accounts and stores nothing on our servers, there is no personal data for us to hold.
We do not hold personal data about you, so there is generally nothing for us to export or delete — you can remove everything by uninstalling the app. If you believe we hold data about you and want a copy, a correction, or its deletion, email support@diamondscout.io. We respond within 30 days.
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app the next time you open it.
